Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition preferred.
• 3 years of food service supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Provides care appropriate to the age of patients served.
• Schedules staff according to department needs and budgeted hours.
• Implements cost control procedures while ensuring quality service.
• Interviews, hires, orients, trains, develops, and evaluates staff performance.
• Assists in planning monthly employee meetings and in-service training.
• Supports budgeting and identifies opportunities for department savings.
• Maintains knowledge of diet office,kitchen, and storeroom functions; participates in patient menu planning.
