Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group is seeking a Dietary Services Manager for a skilled nursing setting. You will oversee staffing, food ordering, meal prep, delivery and sanitation to ensure high-quality nutrition for residents in accordance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and a Food Handler certification.
• Certified Food Service Manager or equivalent national certification is required or in-state equivalent.
• An associate degree or higher in food service management or hospitality with relevant coursework is preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for food service managers in applicable states.
• Previous long-term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of the food service department, including staffing and scheduling.
• Oversee food ordering, meal preparation, delivery, safety and sanitation.
• Ensure quality nutritional services daily and supervise kitchen staff.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Food Handler level II certification

Certified Food Service Manager or national certification

Associate's or higher degree in food service management or hospitality with relevant coursework
