Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics/Culinary Arts/Food Services or related; in lieu of Bachelor's, 6 years food service/hospitality management in healthcare.
• 3-4 years food service/hospitality leadership (Required)
• 5-6 years director/manager level in senior dining or hospital environment (Preferred)
• Allergen Awareness Certification (VA) within 180 days (Required)
• Food Protection Manager Certification (VA) within 180 days (Required)
• CDM/CFPP preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety audits for kitchen operations.
• Provide effective HR management to maximize performance and maintain staffing.
• Oversee budgeting, payroll processes, and cost control measures.
• Develop menus with RD input and align with dietary orders and allergies.
• Lead staff training, huddles, and performance development.
• Monitor KPIs like cost per resident day and cost per meal.
