Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with Nutrition Services management on any and all issues that may arise during the shift.
• Ensure all HACCP/Sanitation paperwork is completed and turned in before the shift is completed.
• Assemble, prepare, deliver, pick up, and sanitize patient trays.
• Prepare cold foods for the patient meal.
• Greet and assist patients and residents, ensure trays are set up properly before leaving rooms.
• Ensure all trays are checked for accuracy.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.
• Re-stock supplies including silverware, plates, dishes, as needed.
• Clean the dish room and machine after all meals.
• Complete daily tasks as assigned by the Nutrition Services Aide Lead (task sheet)
• Take temperatures of the food to ensure all items are below or above degrees.
• Ensure cleaning tasks are completed prior to the end of the shift.
• Demonstrates awareness of confidentiality rules and regulations and acts accordingly.
• Issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
• Tabulate bills using cash registers and price scanners.
• Reconcile daily deposits.
• Stock shelves, including condiments and utensils.
• May perform other duties as assigned or requested and job specification can be modified or updated at any time.
