Job summary

JustFoodForDogs, LLC is hiring a Part-time Nutrition Sales Consultant for our Union Square location in New York. You will engage with customers and their dogs, recommending meals, treats and supplements while applying product knowledge.

Focus is on building lasting relationships, meeting sales goals, and following store policies to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced, pet-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping customers and pets.
• Strong sales and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with POS systems and tablets.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and their dogs in-store; recommend meals, treats, and supplements.
• Apply pet nutrition and product knowledge to influence purchases.
• Build and maintain customer relationships with follow-up support.
• Adhere to merchandising, housekeeping, inventory, and POS policies.
• Follow company policies including safety and security at POS.
• Meet personal sales quotas and communicate insights to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively engage with customers and their dogs in-store and make personalized recommendations for meals, treats, supplements and other JFFD products.
• Learn and apply pet nutrition knowledge and JFFD product knowledge to influence pet parents to feed JFFD.
• Establish and maintain Customer Relationships; provide quality follow-up and ongoing support for customers.
• Adhere to merchandising standards, housekeeping, inventory management and point of sale policies.
• Follow JFFD policies and procedures, including those for safety, security, POS, etc.
• Meet personal sales quotas, and communicate insights/ideas to General Manager to help Kitchen achieve its target.
