Job summary

JustFoodForDogs is seeking a Nutrition Sales Consultant for a part-time role in Ballard, Seattle, WA. You will engage with customers and their dogs, recommending meals, treats, supplements, and other JFFD products to drive sales.

Apply knowledge of pet nutrition and JFFD products to influence purchases, while building lasting relationships with pet parents and providing excellent follow-up support. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Pet nutrition knowledge essential for recommending meals and products.
• Ability to establish and maintain customer relationships and follow-up.
• Proven sales drive and ability to meet quotas.
• Strong interpersonal skills for in-store conversations.
• Solid time management and organizational abilities.
• May require lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Experience using POS systems and iPad for transactions.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with customers and their dogs in-store and make personalized recommendations for meals, treats, supplements and other JFFD products.
• Learn and apply pet nutrition knowledge and JFFD product knowledge to influence pet parents to feed JFFD.
• Establish and maintain Customer Relationships; provide quality follow-up and ongoing support for customers.
• Adhere to merchandising standards, housekeeping, inventory management and point of sale policies.
• Follow JFFD policies and procedures, including those for safety, security, POS, etc.
• Meet personal sales quotas, and communicate insights/ideas to General Manager to help Kitchen achieve its target.
