Job summary

JustFoodForDogs in Thousand Oaks, CA seeks a part-time Nutrition Sales Consultant to help dog parents choose wholesome, nutritious meals and products. You will engage with customers and their dogs in-store, share product knowledge, and build lasting relationships while meeting sales targets.

Ideal candidates are passionate about pet health, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and comfortable using POS and iPad tools to process transactions and track inventory.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and their dogs in-store; recommend meals, treats, supplements and other JFFD products.
• Learn and apply pet nutrition and JFFD product knowledge to influence customers to choose JFFD.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships; provide follow-up and ongoing support.
• Follow merchandising standards, housekeeping, inventory and POS policies.
• Follow JFFD policies, safety, security and POS procedures.
• Meet personal sales quotas and relay insights to the General Manager to help reach targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively engage with customers and their dogs in-store and make personalized recommendations for meals, treats, supplements and other JFFD products.
