Job summary

JustFoodForDogs is seeking a part-time Pack Leader at our Lake Forest pantry to help dogs live healthier lives through fresh, whole foods. You’ll engage customers and their dogs in-store, recommend meals and treats, and build lasting relationships with pet parents.

This role requires enthusiasm, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to meet sales quotas while handling POS and iPad tasks. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a team that shares our mission and values.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to explain product nutrition facts to pet parents.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with customers and their dogs in-store and make personalized recommendations for meals, treats, supplements and other JFFD products.
• Learn and apply pet nutrition knowledge and JFFD product knowledge to influence pet parents to feed JFFD.
• Establish and maintain Customer Relationships; provide quality follow-up and ongoing support for customers.
• Adhere to merchandising standards, housekeeping, inventory management and point of sale policies.
• Follow JFFD policies and procedures, including those for safety, security, POS, etc.
• Meet personal sales quotas, and communicate insights/ideas to General Manager to help Kitchen achieve its target.

Key Responsibilities
