Job summary

AdventHealth in Overland Park, KS is seeking a part-time dietary aide to support hospital foodservice operations. You'll prepare meals, stock and sanitize pantries, and deliver trays to patients while following safety protocols.

Applicants should have meal prep experience and be able to work night and weekend shifts on a PRN basis. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, operating café registers, and ensuring accurate temperature records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Mathematical skills essential to job duties.
• Experience with a Point of Sale System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items and beverages following recipes.
• Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments with accurate records.
• Serve meals on tray lines, record temperatures, and deliver trays using proper ID and isolation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and operate dishroom equipment and café registers.
• Process transactions accurately and monitor sanitation logs.

Job Description:

Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency. Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation. Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations. Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed. Other duties as assigned.
