Job summary

AdventHealth in Overland Park, KS, seeks a PRN Night-Weekend Dietary Aide to support patient meals and nutrition services. You will prepare meals, stock pantries, and deliver trays to patients while following safety and sanitation guidelines.

The role requires basic English literacy, good math skills, and a cooperative attitude. Bilingual English/Spanish and POS experience are preferred, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items following recipes and production requirements.
• Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments; maintain inventory records.
• Serve meals on tray lines; record temperatures; deliver trays to patients with proper identification protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment; use cleaning chemicals safely.
• Operate dishroom equipment and café registers; process transactions; monitor sanitation logs and temperature records.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency.
• Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation.
• Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations.
• Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
