Job summary

Good Samaritan in Lakota, ND is seeking a dependable supervisor for the Food Service/Facilities team. The role focuses on staffing, scheduling, training and ensuring regulatory compliance, quality of service, and safe food preparation.

You’ll oversee recipes, menus, sanitation, and staff performance, while guiding a team toward excellent patient and resident care. Full-time, day shift, 40 hours per week with potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in the food service industry or food production industry required.
• CDM certification preferred; Serve Safe certification may be required within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise quality of performance for employees on the team.
• Assist in interviewing, hiring, counseling, disciplining and performance reviews.
• Oversee staffing and scheduling to meet regulatory requirements.
• Oversee menu planning, recipes, sanitation and appearance of food.
• Provide training and development for staff and ensure compliance with policies.
