Job summary

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in the food service industry or food production industry required.
• CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) certification preferred; may be required within two years of hire.
• Serve Safe certification may be required within a year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the quality of performance for employees on one’s team.
• Assists with interviewing, hiring, counseling, disciplining and performance reviews.
• Oversees staffing and scheduling to meet department needs and regulatory requirements.
• Writes, tests and implements recipes; advises on appearance, taste and sanitation.
• Demonstrates leadership and collaborates with staff to achieve quality goals.
