Texas Health Azle is seeking a Manager of Food and Nutrition Services to lead the department onsite, ensuring high quality patient and cafeteria experiences. The role oversees budgeting, staffing, procurement, training, and compliance with TDH food safety and HACCP standards in a large-scale operation.

You will collaborate with leadership to drive patient satisfaction and service excellence, while implementing cost controls and maintaining regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree preferred in relevant field.
• 3 years experience in a large-scale operation including patient care, cafeteria, and catering.
• Progressive leadership experience required.
• FHC - Food Handlers Certificate required within 60 days of hire.
• CDM - Certified Dietary Manager or NDTR - Nutrition and Dietetic Technician Registered preferred upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Oversees the financial aspect of the cafeteria to include daily cash deposits, discounts, taxes, overages or shortages; processes change order requests and documents orders properly.
• Manages human resources functions including performance reviews, staff development, Food Handler cards, attendance monitoring, incident reports, scheduling and corrective action.
• Purchases and manages all food and supplies for the department.
• Trains staff on needed skills, safety and sanitation standards; teaches and presents professional presentations and merchandising; ensures proper planning and cleanup.
• Educates staff on HACCP standards and monitors hand hygiene and patient ID when delivering items into patient rooms.
• Serves as a member of the leadership team and participates in department decisions to drive growth and patient/customer satisfaction.
