Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility in Castle Rock, CO. You will follow planned menus, ensure quality and presentation, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen.

We value experience in food preparation and the ability to work with dietary restrictions. Certification in ServSafe or Food Handler may be required by state law, and residents’ well-being comes first.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and leadership to perform daily tasks.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work with food and cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
