Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior cook or food prep experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Strong communication with residents, staff, and leadership is essential.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Sanitation training and ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines and keep the kitchen clean.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
