Job summary

Kootenai Health is seeking a Part-time Hospitality Services team member in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. You will handle patient meal orders, coordinate room service, and assist with guest trays and staff meals, while supporting dietitians and ensuring dietary accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient meal orders by phone using room service and hospital-wide order entry software.
• Clarify allergies and dietary restrictions to ensure meals meet orders.
• Collaborate with dietitians in EMR for allergy updates and nutrition support.
• Coach patients in selecting meals that meet dietary needs and preferences.
• Coordinate with call center and assist with dietitian projects and training.
• Maintain records, reports, logs and other required documents.
• Follow up on missed meals and assist with guest and staff meals.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Training in Dietetics or experience in dietary office preferred
