University of Southern California Keck Hospital seeks a Nutrition Assistant (Union) for per diem 8-hour rotating shifts in Los Angeles. You will assist in menu selection using a laptop ordering system, deliver meals, set up patient meals, and handle phone orders as needed.

Daily tasks include visiting patients for orders, using Health Touch program, documenting preferences, and coordinating with Nursing and Dietitians. Must have high school diploma and good English skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• If no HS diploma, 1 year of relevant experience acceptable.
• Excellent customer service and patient-facing communication.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and spoken.
• Basic computer/laptop skills required to use ordering software.

Responsabilités

• Visit patients to obtain meal orders and explain diet options.
• Utilize Health Touch system for meal and snack orders.
• Document tube feeding and unit nourishments as required.
• Communicate with Nursing, Dietitians and Food & Nutrition Services.
• Record census and review reports for accuracy before meals.
• Attend safety trainings and comply with USC policies.
