Unidine is hiring a part-time Patient Dining Associate in the Los Angeles area to assist on the hospital unit with menu selection assistance, tray assembly and meal delivery. You will work with nursing and culinary teams to meet dietary requirements and ensure meals are served safely and on time.

The role requires English literacy, basic math and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, with schedule variation including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualificações

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Help patients understand their menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure dietary requirements are met.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies and preferences.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays on schedule while ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and sanitation procedures.
• Support dietitians and monitor patients on special diets as needed.
• Communicate issues to appropriate personnel promptly.
• Complete daily, weekly or monthly reports per policy.
• Adhere to health and sanitation regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
