Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center in Columbia, MD, seeks a Nutrition Assistant II to support patients, visitors and staff by preparing meals, serving food, handling cash, and keeping the cafeteria clean and compliant with safety standards.

The position is rotating, part-time (days 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) and located at Howard County General Hospital. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualificações

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsabilidades

• Set up assigned café station.
• Serve food to patients, visitors and staff.
• Label, date and rotate food items; discard expired items.
• Take temperatures of foods and record log.
• Process cash, credit and debit transactions accurately.
• Maintain par levels and stock supplies.
• Deliver meal trays to patients’ rooms following protocols.
• Assist with tray setup and light prep.
