Job summary

Somafina in Utah is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to own the environmental, health and safety program across manufacturing, packaging, and lab operations. You will drive OSHA, FDA, and GMP compliance, manage incident and workers' comp processes, and foster a proactive safety culture through daily walks and training.

You will set strategy, lead staff, manage the EHS budget, and partner with QA, Production and HR to align safety priorities with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive EHS experience, including leading safety programs.
• Experience managing direct reports or cross-functional safety initiatives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns EHS across manufacturing, packaging, and lab operations; sets strategy and priorities.
• Directs OSHA, FDA, GMP compliance; manages incident investigations and CAPA.
• Manages workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs; ensures ADA/FLSA/FMLA compliance.
• Delivers GMP, PPE, chemical safety, emergency response training; partners with QA, Production, HR.
