Job summary

Somafina is a fast-growing nutraceutical co-manufacturer in Utah seeking an EHS Manager to drive safety across manufacturing, packaging, and lab operations. You will develop and enforce safety protocols and ensure OSHA, FDA, and GMP compliance.

You will lead incident investigations, CAPA, and safety training; manage staff and budget; partner with QA, Production, HR, and Maintenance to align safety priorities; report to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of OSHA, GMP, FDA regulations and HACCP.
• Experience leading or managing safety programs.
• Proven ability to develop and implement safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Owns safety program across manufacturing, packaging, and lab operations.
• - Leads safety inspections to ensure GMP and OSHA compliance.
• - Manages workers' compensation claims and return-to-work processes.
• - Delivers GMP, PPE, chemical safety, and SOP training.
• - Partners with QA, Production, HR and Maintenance to align EHS priorities.
• - Recruits, trains and manages EHS staff and oversees budget.
