Job summary

Sterling Engineering is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety at a Salt Lake City manufacturing facility. You will drive a strong safety culture, oversee regulatory compliance, and manage EHS programs and training.

The role reports to the Director of EHS, leading a team of three professionals and partnering with operations, engineering, and facilities to embed safety into daily work processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field (Engineering, Environmental Science, or OSH).
• 7+ years of progressive EHS experience with leadership exposure.
• Hands-on experience with core industrial safety programs (LOTO, risk assessments, electrical, confined space).
• Experience delivering safety training and maintaining OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead site EHS programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Direct and develop a team of three EHS professionals.
• Develop and improve EHS policies, procedures, and training.
