Viva Senior Living seeks a Wellness Director to lead the Nursing Department, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive high-quality resident care. The role oversees staffing, training, QA processes, and coordination with the Business Office Manager.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, incident reporting, and maintaining medical records, while upholding Viva’s care philosophies and policies.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid LPN or RN license.
• Must possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or a GED.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must adhere to attendance policies and employment terms as per Employee Handbook.
• Must be able to work well with peers in a congenial environment and show compassion to residents.

Responsabilités

• The Wellness Director is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Nursing Department.
• Lead development of the Assistant Wellness Director and clinical staff to build high-performing teams focused on service, care delivery, and teamwork.
• Ensure proper staffing levels, regulatory compliance, and adherence to Viva's standards and mission.
• Create and maintain monthly department schedule.
• Provide leadership development to staff and ensure QA with regulations and standards.
• Oversee budgeting, billing, and coordination with Business Office Manager.
• Oversee training onboarding and orientation for new nursing staff.
• Maintain on-call schedules and staff assignments in ALIS.
• Oversee incident reporting and regulatory submissions as required.
• Oversee chart audits and medical records management.
