Job summary

Vitality is seeking an experienced Wellness leader to supervise a care team and promote dignified, purposeful aging. You will model and promote positive resident experiences, ensure safety and professional conduct, and lead by example to keep the community fully staffed and thriving.

Responsibilities include supervising Personal Care Specialists, administering medications per policy, communicating with physicians, and participating in onboarding and trainings to support excellent resident care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain current professional license if LPN/LVN.
• Maintain current CPR certification if LPN/LVN.

Responsibilities

• Administer or assist residents to self-administer medications and treatments.
• Measure vital signs and weight.
• Communicate with physicians via telephone, fax, and Physician Communication forms.
• Ensure physician orders, laboratory reports, and other data are scanned and filed in resident charts.
• Supervise Personal Care Specialists to ensure daily completion of their duties.
• Assist in the development and revision of service plans.
