Miami Jewish Health in Miami, FL seeks a Unit Secretary to support nursing unit operations. You will answer calls, greet visitors and residents, and coordinate communication to and from the unit to ensure timely care and accurate charting.

You will maintain charts and requisitions, enter physician orders into PCC, track weights and vital signs, and help with daily documentation while staying compliant with regulatory standards.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant program preferred.
• Minimum 6 months clerical experience in healthcare.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Florida CNA certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Handles unit telephone calls, switchboard, and message transfer.
• Greet visitors and residents and coordinate unit communications.
• Maintain charts and requisitions for care and procedures.
• Enter orders into PCC after physician verification.
• Record weights and vital signs; monitor MAR daily.
