Job summary

Brighton Bay Center for Rehabilitation & Healing in Saint Petersburg, FL is hiring a Nursing Unit Manager (RN or LPN). The role assists the Director of Nursing, plans, develops, organizes and coordinates day-to-day unit operations, ensuring compliant nursing services for residents.

The position offers full-time hours, a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k), flexible scheduling, and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required (accredited college/university).
• Two years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative or geriatric settings as an RN.
• Minimum one year of nursing management experience.
• Current CPR certification and state licensure without disciplinary action.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the unit.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and facility policies.
• Maintains adequate stock of medications, supplies, and equipment on the unit.
• Assists in developing assessments of nursing needs and assigns nursing care.
• Encourages staff to attend training and reviews nurses' notes for quality documentation.
