Job summary

Recover-Care Healthcare seeks a Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to lead nursing operations with 24-hour accountability and a focus on quality outcomes and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities include coordinating staffing, mentoring nurses, ensuring regulatory compliance, and guiding clinical care on the unit.

The role may involve direct patient care and collaboration with physicians, with emphasis on safety and reimbursement performance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (RN or LPN).
• 3+ years nursing leadership/management experience.
• Current state licensure as RN or LPN.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Infection prevention certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure 24/7 nursing coverage.
• Manage staffing, overtime and agency usage.
• Participate in staff recruitment and performance review.
• Lead clinical care on the unit to meet outcomes and budget.
• Ensure PCC use aligns with defined processes.
• Oversee medication management and physician orders.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient flow.
• Maintain a safe and respectful unit environment.
