Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; 5 years clinical experience; 2 years of previous management experience preferred.
• CPR Professional Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Planning, management, implementation and evaluation of operations/services to ensure quality, efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Recruits, selects, mentors and motivates direct reports to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
• Maintains staff performance reviews and coordinates recruitment activities.
• Ensures patient safety and quality care while aligning with hospital policies and procedures.
• Plans and administers annual budgets; monitors expenditures and variances.
• Develops and implements program proposals with cost implications.
• Assumes 24-hour responsibility for assigned areas and divisional coverage as needed.
