Qualifications

• The candidate holds a nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state.
• Minimum two years direct care in long-term care, restorative or geriatric setting as RN/LPN.
• Minimum one year nursing management experience.
• Current CPR certification and compliance with state licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, and direct nursing services for residents on the unit.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations and facility policies.
• Review staff complaints and provide reports to the Director of Nursing.
• Maintain adequate stock of medications, supplies, and equipment.
• Assign nursing and aide duties and participate in care-plan meetings.
• Support training, monitor documentation, and participate in QAPI activities.
