Englewood Health and Rehab in Englewood, OH is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee daily nursing operations and clinical care on the unit. This leadership role ensures quality, compliance, and compassionate care in accordance with state and federal guidelines, and supports the Director of Nursing with day-to-day management.

The ideal candidate has an RN license, 2+ years in long-term care and 1+ year in nursing management, plus current CPR certification.

Qualifications

A nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum two years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative or geriatric settings as an RN.
Minimum one year of experience in nursing management.
Current CPR Certification.

Responsabilités

Plans, develops, organizes, implements, and directs nursing services for residents on the unit.
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and facility policies and procedures.
Review staff complaints and grievances and report to the Director of Nursing as required.
Maintain adequate stock of medications and supplies on the unit and notify personnel as needed.
Assist in assessments of residents' nursing needs and coordinate care.
Make nursing/aide assignments as indicated.
Encourage staff to participate in training programs and schedule times accordingly.
Review nurses' notes for accuracy and relevance to resident care.
