Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Nursing Unit Supervisor to coordinate and supervise nursing care on the assigned unit. The role includes direct patient care, staff supervision, and participation in performance appraisals and orientation. You will help ensure regulatory compliance and promote evidence-based practice in a dynamic clinical setting.

Hours are 7p-7:30a with flexibility to meet business needs. A BSN is required and enrollment in a BSN program with 2 years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a BSN program and 2 YOE.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises nursing care on the assigned unit.
• Provides direct patient care and supervision to staff.
• Participates in performance appraisals and staffing coordination.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and effective use of resources.
• Mentors staff and supports evidence-based practice.
