Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Manager to coordinate and supervise nursing care and activities of assigned personnel. You will ensure compliance with directives, policies, and laws while supporting department and hospital goals.

You will optimize patient flow, staffing levels, and quality of care across the hospital. The role requires transformational leadership and effective communication within the Nursing Department and with cross-functional teams.

Qualifikationen

• Enrollment in Bachelor’s Degree-Nursing is required.
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree-Nursing is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Communicate and implement unit/department goals and Magnet philosophy.
• Supervise nursing personnel and support management in daily operations.
• Facilitate patient placement and triage with staff across units.
• Help with staff orientation, integration and education of new employees.
• Evaluate quality of care and ensure proper documentation.
