Job summary

Northwest Hospital, part of LifeBridge Health, is seeking a CNA to join a coordinated care team in Randallstown, MD. You will support nursing staff with a range of patient care tasks, while ensuring quality and safety in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires a GNA/CNA license, BLS, and 1–3 years of experience in critical or acute care areas. You may float to CCU, Acute Care, Telemetry, ED, BHU, or OR as needed, with opportunities for growth and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Essential: Basic employment skills.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience preferably in Critical Care, Acute Care, Telemetry, ED, BHU, or OR.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing a variety of patient care-related duties under the supervision of the RN.
• Maintain standards of nursing care and follow unit, hospital and Nursing Department policies.
• May float to designated areas: Critical Care, Acute Care, Telemetry, ED, BHU and OR.

Job description

Summary:
Functions under the supervision of the RN in a cooperative effort with the health care team to assist in providing a variety of patient care related duties. Maintains the standards of nursing care for al patients and implements the policies and procedures of the unit, Hospital and Nursing Department. Must be able to float to all designated areas (Critical Care, Acute Care, Telemetry, ED, BHU, and OR).

Experience:
Essential:
Basic employment skills;

High School diploma or GED equivalent;

1-3 years of experience preferably in Critical Care, Acute Care, Telemetry, ED, BHU, or OR.

Basic computer skills; Synquest; Medical terminology; Hoyer lift; Communication devices; Specialty beds; Automatic B/P cuff;

GNA / CNA Licensure; BLS card from AHA.

Pay Range: $20.00 to $27.29 Based On Experience
