Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta seeks a Nursing Support Technician (NST) to assist with patient care under supervision of RNs and LPNs. The NST delivers age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care, maintains a safe environment, assists with activities of daily living, and provides nourishment and comfort measures.

The NST also participates in patient advocacy, teaching, performance improvement, and may be cross-trained as a patient safety monitor or unit clerk, expanding coverage across inpatient

Qualifications

• NST provides age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care.
• Maintains a safe environment and communicates effectively.
• Provides personal care and assists with activities of daily living.
• NST roles include patient advocacy, teaching, and performance improvement.
• NSTs may be cross-trained to serve as a patient safety monitor and/or unit clerk.
