Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Current Georgia Nursing Assistant Certification; or a Certificate from an accredited PCT program; or completion of a Basic Nursing Fundamentals Course as evidenced on official transcript.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Collect information and communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Provide personal care, assist with activities of daily living, and offer comfort and nourishments.
• Perform tasks and therapies as delegated by a licensed professional and advocate for patients.

Education

Certificate of completion from an accredited Patient Care Technician (PCT) Program
