Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta is seeking a Nursing Support Technician (NST) to assist nurses and physicians in inpatient settings. Working under supervision, the NST provides age-appropriate personal care, helps with activities of daily living, and supports patient safety and comfort.

The NST will participate in competency validation, may cross-train as a patient safety monitor or unit clerk, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• Current Georgia Nursing Assistant Certification, PCT program certification, or Basic Nursing Fundamental coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team.
