Grady Health System in Atlanta, GA seeks a Nursing Support Technician to provide compassionate, age-appropriate care under supervision in inpatient settings. The NST assists with activities of daily living, maintains safety, collects information, and communicates effectively.

Requires HS diploma or GED, BLS, and one of Georgia Nursing Assistant Certification, PCT program, or Basic Nursing Fundamentals course.

Qualifikationen

High School Diploma or GED required.
American Heart Association BLS certification required.
Must have one of the following: GA Nursing Assistant Certification, PCT program certificate, or Basic Nursing Fundamentals course.

Aufgaben

Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive personal care and assist with activities of daily living.
Maintain a safe environment, collect information, and communicate effectively.
Assist with selected therapies and tasks as delegated by a licensed professional.
Advocate for patients, support teaching and performance improvement, and participate in quality/safety initiatives.
Cross-train to serve as patient safety monitor and/or unit clerk where needed.
