Job summary

The NST functions primarily in inpatient settings, with opportunities for cross-training as a patient safety monitor or unit clerk. BLS certification and GA nursing qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• American Heart Association BLS Certification required
• One of: Georgia Nursing Assistant Certification, PCT program certificate, or Basic Nursing Fundamentals Course completion

Responsibilities

• Provides age-appropriate, culturally sensitive personal care and activities of daily living under supervision
• Maintains a safe environment and communicates effectively with patients and care team
• Performs selected tasks and therapies as delegated by licensed professionals and supports patient advocacy and education
