Job summary

Auburn Oaks Care Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise daily nursing activities and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The role involves coordinating with the DON/ADON, directing nursing staff, and participating in policy development to maintain high standards of resident care.

The RN will participate in quality assurance, discharge planning, and multidisciplinary committee activities, while ensuring patient safety and documentation accuracy

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed registered nurse.
• Ability to supervise day-to-day nursing activities and staff.
• Strong understanding of federal/state/local regulations governing long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day nursing activities to ensure quality care.
• Develop, maintain and update nursing policies and procedures.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with procedures and standards.
• Participate in quality assurance and facility surveys.
• Assist in planning discharge and coordinating with Care Plan Committee.
• Lead and participate in nursing service committees and meetings.
