Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current, active RN license in Florida with CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English; communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Assist DON/ADON and direct nursing staff to ensure policy compliance and quality resident care.
• Participate in policy/procedure development and quality assurance programs for the nursing service department.
• Plan and participate in resident discharge planning and coordinate with care teams.
• Ensure safe medication administration and accurate charting; monitor staff performance and provide feedback.
