Job summary

Concordia is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise day-to-day nursing activities in a Florida long-term care facility. The RN will ensure compliance with current regulations and maintain quality care during the tour of duty.

The ideal candidate will have a Nursing Degree from an accredited institution, a current RN license, and CPR certification, with prior long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must posess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree an accredited college or university.
• Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• 2 years or more experience preferably in a long-term care facility.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state. Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing day-to-day nursing activities.
• Develop, maintain, and update written policies and procedures for the nursing service.
• Ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current.
• Make written and oral reports to the Director as necessary.
• Meet with the nursing staff to plan services, programs, and activities.
