Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current and unrestricted Florida RN license.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of nursing operations during assigned shifts.
• Promote safe, high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
• Serve as clinical and administrative resource to nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate staffing and workforce planning for coverage.
• Support patient throughput, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Respond to clinical and staffing concerns and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with physicians and departments to optimize care and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, accreditation, and safety initiatives.
• Assist with emergency response and lead during critical events.
