Job summary

Concord Hospital Health System seeks a Nursing Supervisor (Registered Nurse) to oversee daily operations across hospital and patient care areas, responding to emergencies and supporting the delivery of quality nursing practice.

The role requires NH RN licensure, BSN preferred, and 3+ years of acute care experience along with ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications. The supervisor will lead staffing, coordinate patient flow, and serve as on-site leadership after hours, weekends, and during holidays.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred or commensurate education and experience.
• Current NH RN license required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS or equivalent per American Heart Association; MOAB within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a leader and resource for staff, patients, and families.
• Coaches and directs staff in clinical decision-making.
• Demonstrates cost-effective staffing and resource allocation.
• Acts as on-site leadership during evenings, nights, and weekends, with access to an Administrator On-Call.
• Develops staffing plans and coordinates bed management and patient flow.
• Responds to emergency situations and guides nursing care with critical thinking.
• Promotes compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards.
