Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Greater Manchester seeks an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our interdisciplinary team. You will deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with RNs, LPNs, and physicians.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or current enrollment, CT RN license, BCLS certification, and at least three years in acute care with leadership potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in such a program.
• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut is required.
• Certification is highly desirable; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Assist patients with basic needs and activities of daily living under supervision of RN/physician.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and report to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Position Summary

Works with interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department. Performs activities which assist the patient in meeting basic human needs and activities of daily living, providing basic patient care to patients under the direction of the RN, LPN, Paramedic, mid-level provider, or physician. Assists in maintaining a safe and clean environment. Reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Bachelor's Degree or currently enrolled in such a program.
• A current Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut is required.
• Certification is highly desirable.
• Clinical and managerial competency must be retained for area of assignment including Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).

Experience

• Must have at least three (3) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated leadership potential.
