Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Manchester, CT is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality direct and indirect patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will coordinate patient care through collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and communicate the patient’s clinical condition as changes occur.

The role requires CT RN licensure, BLS and ACLS certification, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing with an active CT RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required (or obtained within orientation).

Shift Detail: 0630 to 1900 M-F weekday and weekend call

Position Summary

Utilizing the nursing process, provides high quality direct and indirect patient –centered care. Coordinates patient care by working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team. Communicates, as appropriate, the patient’s clinical condition, responding quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and the skills necessary to provide age appropriate care to the patient population served. Promotes the profession of nursing and professional practice through collegial support and interactions. Reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and have and maintain current a Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut.
• Must have certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire or receive certification within the new employee introductory orientation period and maintain clinical competency during employment with HHC in this role.
