Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager—internally classified as Nursing Supervisor – NL I—. This part-time, rotating-shift role supports the Nurse Manager in administrative duties and guides the nursing team in delivering best clinical practices within the behavioral health setting.

You will oversee unit personnel, supervise charge nurses, participate in hiring and staff development, and promote safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Valid RN license in Connecticut.
• 2+ years of Behavioral Health nursing experience.
• Leadership roles such as Charge Nurse or Supervisor preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

• The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience in Behavioral Health nursing along with

• The ideal candidate will have experience in Behavioral Health nursing (2+ years) and leadership roles such as, Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Assistant Nurse Manager (2+ years).

Preferred

• BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
