Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Nursing Supervisor in Shirley, MA to provide operational and supervisory support for nursing staff across assigned regions within the Massachusetts Correctional Institution Shirley SUDT program.

The role requires an MA RN or LPN license, CPR/BLS certification, and prior supervisory experience; DOC experience is preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:00pm, with pay ranging from $93,600 to $108,794 annually and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid MA RN or LPN license from accredited school.
• Must have CPR/BLS certification.
• Prior supervisory experience required; DOC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and supervisory support to nursing staff in assigned regions and ensure compliance with policies, protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain the nursing schedule at the assigned regions, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
• Ensure adequate medication supply at the assigned sites, including 222 forms availability to prevent delays in receiving medications.
• Participate in on-call nursing rotation.
• Count and document onsite medication control and documentation.
• Educate patients on medication-assisted treatment use, purpose, side-effects, and related information.
• Verify medication orders with the addiction specialist and transcribe the orders.
• Assist in the admission process and document substance use disorder diagnoses as required.

Pay rate: $93,600.00 – $108,794.00/annually

The Nursing Supervisor Is Responsible For

• Providing operational and supervisory support to the nursing staff in assigned regions and ensure compliance with all policies, protocols, and regulatory standards
• Developing and maintain the nursing schedule at the assigned regions, ensuring adequate nursing coverage at all times
• Ensuring an adequate supply of medication is maintained at the assigned sites. This includes maintaining an adequate supply of 222 forms, when ordering when necessary to prevent delays in receiving medication
• Participating in on call nursing rotation
• The control, counting and appropriate documentation of onsite medication
• Educates patients on use, purpose, side-effects, and other information relating to medication-assisted treatment
• Verifying medication orders with the qualified addiction specialist and transcribes the orders
• Assisting in the admission process and documents substance use disorder diagnosis as required
