Job summary

Paycom is hiring a licensed practical nurse or registered nurse for the Shirley MOUD program at Massachusetts Correctional Institution. The role is part-time, 16 hours per week, 5:00am-1:00pm, with weekend differential.

You'll administer medications to incarcerated patients enrolled in SUDT and support treatment triage in a regulated secure setting. Applicants must hold a MA nursing license, CPR/BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days), and have experience in substance abuse settings; DOC

Qualifications

• Valid MA nursing license (LPN or RN) required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health preferred; DOC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administering medication to incarcerated patients enrolled in the SUDT program.
• Triaging patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder.
• Control, counting and administer medication in accordance with state/federal standards and regulations.
• Successful completion of 40 Hour Department of Correction New Employee Training.

• Week 1: Friday and Saturday
• Week 2: Sunday and Friday

Pay rate: $38.00-$42.00/hour. $10.00/hour shift differential on the weekend

The Nurse is responsible for:

• Administering medication to incarcerated patients who are enrolled in the Substance Use Disorder Treatment (SUDT) Program
• Triaging patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder
• Control, counting and administer medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulation.
• Successful completion of 40 Hour Department of Correction New Employee Training

Qualifications:
