Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. is hiring a part-time nurse to administer medications for the Opioid Use Disorder MOUD program at Shirley, MA.

The role involves managing medication for incarcerated patients enrolled in SUDT and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. The successful candidate will hold a MA nursing license (RN or LPN), have CPR/BLS certification, and ideally possess experience in substance abuse or mental health and DOC settings.

Qualifications

• Valid MA nursing license (RN or LPN) required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control, counting and administer medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulation.

Job description

Location: Shirley, MA - Shirley Medium/Minimum Massachusetts Correctional Institution. Medication for Opioid Use Disorder Program (MOUD)

Schedule: Part-time, 16 hours a week. 5:00am-1:00pm

Week 1: Friday and Saturday

Week 2: Sunday and Friday

Pay rate: $38.00-$42.00/hour. $10.00/hour shift differential on the weekend

The Nurse Is Responsible For

• Administering medication to incarcerated patients who are enrolled in the Substance Use Disorder Treatment (SUDT) Program
• Triaging patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder
• Control, counting and administer medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulation.
