Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a licensed nurse to administer medications to incarcerated patients in the MAT program at Old Colony Correctional Center in Bridgewater, MA.

The role requires a MA license (LPN/RN) and CPR/BLS certification, with weekend rotation for a 40-hour schedule. The nurse will triage patients referred to Opioid Use or Alcohol Use Disorder treatment, count and dispense medications, and ensure compliance with state and federal standards in a secure correctional

Qualifications

• Valid MA nursing license from an accredited school (LPN or RN) is required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health or acute care inpatient settings preferred.
• DOC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication to incarcerated patients enrolled in the MAT program.
• Triaging patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder.
• Control, count and administer medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulation.

Job description

Location: Bridgewater, MA - Old Colony Correctional Center. Medication for Opioid Use Disorder Program

Schedule: 40 hours a week. 5:00am-1:00pm, every other weekend required

Pay rate: $38.00-$42.00/hour. $10/hour shift differential on the weekend

The Nurse Is Responsible For

• Administering medication to incarcerated patients who are enrolled in the Medication for Addiction Treatment (MAT) Program
• Triaging patients referred to treatment for Opioid Use and/or Alcohol Use Disorder
• Control, counting and administer medication in accordance with state and federal standards and regulation.

Qualifications

• Must have current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in substance abuse/mental health field or an acute care inpatient healthcare environment preferred.
